A new chapter in our democracy

Emotions run high today. I may have shed tears many times throughout the day. Not because I am sad but purely out of joy. A joy to see a patriot who knows true American values become the 46th president of the United States of America. But the day is more historic than any other inauguration. We also have the first female Vice President. It is a true testament to what this great nation is about. It’s the land of opportunities and possibilities, the American Dream.
This administration will have an uphill road ahead. A divided country and many broken alliances. But as an American I am going to bed knowing we are in the rightful hands. Country will be alright. Wake up tomorrow to a new day and be proud once again to be an American. #46
