Pere Magloire Calvados (Fine V.S.)

In my effort to expand my taste buds and alcohol experience, this winter my self and hubby decided to try out different spirits. While hubby is focusing mainly on Bourbon Whiskey I decided to try a few different angles of Brandy. My first stop is a Calvados. The famous Apple Brandy. As I take my first whiff the first thing came to my mind is apple juice. A very strong apple smell is very noticeable. I took a sip, neat and could feel the strong spirit tingle in my mouth but what came next is the most amazing experience. The warmth it provided as the sip went down to my throat. On a cold night, after a Spicy meal this is the perfect night cap. I am looking forward to trying it on the rocks or chilled and experience different notes this amazing Calvados has to offer.
